A System Type defines each System that is installed and/or serviced at a customer’s site. A System Type could be a Intrusion, Fire, CCTV, Access Control or any other type of installed system.
The System Type may also be used for reporting purposes. The route field on this setup form may be optional.
If you have activated the Schedule by Routes option in Setup Defaults (Service), this field will be required to be able to save the System Type record. If you choose to use route scheduling, the route will default into any new System records created.
