For a User to be able to use various options within the Inventory module, certain security privileges must be granted to the User through the User Group Security options within SedonaSetup. The following User Group Security options located within Application Access/IN security options section pertain to Inventory.
- Issues/Returns – Allows the User to issue and return inventory parts to a warehouse location.
- Manufacturer – Allows the User access to the Manufacturer setup table from the Main Application Menu Tree.
- Parts – Allows the User to view inventory part information.
- Physical Inventory/Adjustments – Allows the User full access to Physical Inventory functions.
- Product Line – Allows the User access to the Product Line setup table from the Main Application Menu Tree.
- Receive Parts – Allows the User to receive a Purchase or Repair Order.
- Repair Order – Allows the User to create and modify Repair Orders.
- Return to Vendor – Allows the User to create a Vendor Return (return parts to a Vendor).
- Transfers – Allows the User to transfer parts from one warehouse to another from the Main Application Menu Tree, Warehouse Explorer and the Part Explorer.
- Warehouses – Allows the User access to the Warehouse setup; create, edit existing warehouse information
- Edit Parts – Allows the User to edit Part Setup information.
- Part Custom Fields – Allows the User access to the Custom Fields for within the Part Setup and within the Part Explorer.
- Part Documents – Allows the User add an existing document or attach a new document to a part when accessing the Part Documents form from the Part Setup and within the Part Explorer.
- Add Parts – Allows the User to create new Parts.
- Access to all Parts – Allows the User to Order parts from a Vendor that is not setup as a supplier within the Par Setup.
